"Hospital feedback"

About: George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust

My mother had her Parkinsons missed 3 times by the consultant neurologist despite showing every sign in the book. it was not until i told the nurse on her ward that i thought she had Parkinsons did she get a diagnosis. How odd! she was discharged with no care in place despite the fact she was unable to even get herself a drink. The staff treated her like a dog, actually pets get better. I wouldn't send my worse enemy to this hospital and if you are ill in the area, for heavens sake go somewhere else, anywhere else. You can tell it was the old workhouse, it has all the compassion and dignity afforded to workhouse inmates.

I am sorry that your mother did not receive the level of care you would have wished. If you could please contact PALS on (024) 7686 5550 we can attempt to respond to some of your comments and understand where improvements can be made.
