i had my baby girl in the hospital. I firstly arrived in maternity triage and the midwifes and assistant midwifes were all lovely and as i was already 6cm dilated was found a birthing room within 30 minutes of being there. i was surprised I was able to use a birthing pool (i didnt think i would be allowed to use one as i didnt realize some of the hospital birthing rooms had them (thought only the Juno rooms had them-which i couldnt use). I had a wonderful midwife who was supportive and amazing along side another midwife who was also present for the birth, They explained everything to me and my opinions were listened to. Later that day i had a bleed - at one point i had 3 midwifes and a Dr around me trying to sort me out. They were supportive and calmed me down. (even if i didn't sound calm). I just want to say a massive thank you to everyone involved in my and my beautiful daughters care. I couldnt have wished for better care if i tried.
"amazing staff"
