I had visited my GP Friday Evening as I was concerned about my right leg. The doctor diagnosed I had a very serious Ulceration. The doctor gave me 2 lots of antibiotics and due to no nurse being available. Advised I go to the Urgent Care department at Chasefarm and advise staff
I have a ulcerated right leg would they please put on the correct dressing. So the next morning I booked a cab and went. I got out of the cab with my usual difficulty and with two sticks made my way to Reception I was booked in, and told to take a seat. The seats were all to low for me so I asked at reception if a higher chair was available to there credit they did try to assist, but with out any success. I then spotted a wheel chair and one of the receptionist wheeled it over for me. I didn't wait long before the nurse called me, I answered various health questions and my temperature was taken. Then to my dismay was told a specialist nurse could only apply the appropriate dressing. My wound was cleaned and a waterproof dressing applied which fell of when I got home.
