"CT Scan abdominal area"

About: Royal Stoke University Hospital / Urology

Excellent service, extremely friendly staff. Hats off as they work really hard. Got picked up by paramadeic enroute to work, I was in agony and extreme pain due to suspected kidney stones. Paramadeic were were supportive, so was the hospital staff, porters, consultants. I felt dizzy whilst waiting to be picked up after the scan and spoke to the member of staff at the near main entrance / pharmacy side. They kept checking on me now and again to make sure I was ok as I was lying down on the chair due to pain. The dispenser / pharmacists at Lloyds pharmacy inside the hospital saw me lying on the chair and came to check on me. Thank you all for making me feel comfortable. Back to Birmingham safe and sound now.

Thank you very much for taking the time to comment on your recent experience of our hospital. Feedback like yours really does make a difference to our staff who work extremely hard to deliver a high standard of service to all our patients and visitors.

I do hope you are continuing to recover well.

With best wishes

Rebecca Smith, Quality Improvement Facilitator: Patient Experience.
