"Fantastic care"

About: Raigmore Hospital / Accident & Emergency

(as other),

'The Lodger' was admitted to Raigmore Hospital A&E a few weeks ago before being transferred to AMAU later that day and to 7C on the Tuesday. We would both like to express our thanks to all the staff involved in his care from the time we checked in with A&E reception till he was discharged.

He was treated with care, dignity and respect by all the staff, medical, nursing, ancilliary and domestic, he encountered and they did well dealing with his warped sense of humour at times! You all work under tremendous pressure at times and do so with good grace!

Thankfully his diagnosis was not a serious as it could be and he is getting better day by day - in fact I wish he would get back to work now! Although we missed our holiday to Malta for the football, I am so glad that when he took ill it was here and we were able to access the fantastic care of our NHS in Scotland and not when we were abroad.

Thank you all so much.

Dear TheLodgersOtherHalf

I hope the Lodger continues to make good progress and you get him back to work soon! It is often only once you use the NHS do you realise what a great service it really is - when you need it most our magnificent staff are there for you. I have no doubt too the Lodger will also be well looked after by their GP.

Sometimes we don't always get things quite right why it is important to get feed-back in good times as well as not so good.

You missed a Scottish victory away from home!

Stay well
