"issue off wrong medication"

About: Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust

Please help! my daughter has been under cams for the last 2yrs+. she is on medication but this is the second time that I have got a prescription with the wrong medication that she has been taken off. I have phoned on several occasions to speak to the manager but without any response. My main concern is that she is very vulnerable and could of picked the prescription up herself. She is a self harmer and has got depression. Who do I make a complaint to, as this is a real safeguarding issue.

We are concerned to learn of your difficulty, we would ask that you contact us through our Customer Relations/PALS Service in the first instance on Freephone 0800 953 0045. They will be able to take more details from you and if necessary put you in touch with a more senior manager. Some of our services for young people have been transferred to a different trust, if this is the case for your daughters care, our PALS team will be able to advise you of contact within that trust.
