"2 recent visits to A&E!"

I've had two recent visits in the last 3 weeks to PAH A&E 1) with the end of my finger sliced off removing ⅓ of the nail but fortunately no bone damage and 2) a fully dislocated shoulder.

On both occasions it was noted the pain I was in and I was treated impressively quickly, efficiently, with care, professional concern and very good humour.

I would like to thank with fervour all the staff from porters through to technical staff (e.g.x-ray), nursing and doctors.

They were polite, impressively efficient and obviously took note of the urgency of the care required.

Very many thanks to all staff involved and I hope all patients at PAH receive the same experience.

So, if you are ever in a position where you are considering raising a concern, we would urge you to make contacting the Patient Experience Team your first step, they have access to clinicians and leaders across the organisation and can escalate your concerns and more often than not, resolve them immediately.
