My daughter has previously received care from Birmingham and Solihull mental health trust under both the early intervention services cmht and was discharged approx 1 year ago.
Unfortunately, she had a relapse which resulted in her attending good hope hospital raid service which, in turn, resulted in her being referred to the new ftb service within the children's hospital.
That was circa 3 months ago.
She received visits from three sets of clinicians from the home treatment team, all of which I had to ring the service to chase a visit.
One of the visits involved the cpn spending the whole visit sending messages on their mobile phone with hardly any input to any discussion held with either my daughter and I in my home. This behaviour, incidentally, has been reported back to the service and four messages left for the htt manager to ring me to discuss.
Three months later I am still waiting for that call.
In addition, my daughters final visit from htt, which was circa 6 weeks ago, we were advised she would be referred to a relevant cmht.
We have received no contact since this advice and in addition I have chased regular updates over the last two/three weeks with your service and have been assured each time that I will be contacted as a priority to discuss my daughters care.
I have still received no calls back despite my constant chasing. I am appalled at the mental health service your trust has provided my daughter and the obvious lack of care and empathy the trust have shown both her and I .
Appalled.
