I was first admitted in December with tonsillitis and possible sepsis. I stayed in hospital for a total of 3 days, and I couldn't fault my stay there. The nurses were absolutely lovely, mostly looked after by a nurse. I even enjoyed the food (whoever said hospital food was horrible!) despite the pain to swallow. I was on my way, and the fare was fantastic. I was also impressed with the hygiene and how thorough the cleaners were when cleaning. I unfortunately was admitted again July 2016 with the same situation. I was only in for 24 hours this time, and care as at the same good standard as it was back in December. The ENT doctor said that I would have a referral with the surgeon about a possible tonsillectomy, which I was overjoyed with (I just want them out!). I got my letter a week later, unfortunately the appointment got cancelled but I only had to way 9 days for the appointment. So fingers crossed I will be having my tonsillectomy soon, as much as I 'enjoyed' my stay, touch wood you won't see me again after. Thank you!
