"Don't use Nurology at this hospital"

Come out of here crying with frustration because a doctor who never listened to my symptoms told me my symptoms were hyperventilating nothing more! They asked me to breathe in and out like blowing a balloon then asked if I felt dizzy and when I said I was they said well that's your answer! I explained that wasn't how I felt but they dismissed me. They were very rude and patronizing. Used all old fashioned equipment and techniques. Said nothing else wrong with me! Never felt so frustrated in years!Terrible! Don't know why or how people like that can still practice!

What a complete waste of my time!

Thank your for taking the time to write your feedback and I am very sorry that you have had a poor experience here at Clevedon.

The Neurologist that you saw would be one of two consultants from North Bristol NHS Trust and as such are not part of Clevedon Hospital staff but I am very aware that any quality issues, regardless of where the Clinician actually comes from, reflect on Clevedon Community Hospital as a whole.

As such, I am very keen to investigate this but I am unable to identify you from your comments and therefore cannot look into your case so I would ask that you please contact me directly on m.croughan@nhs.net.

We can then arrange to meet and discuss your experience in order that I can gain as much information as possible to take to North Bristol Trust.
