"Day treatment centre care"

About: Freeman Hospital

I have been a regular patient at the day treatment centre as part of a venesection programme after my diagnosis of haemachromatosis for the past 5 months. My weekly visits to offload blood have been made tolerable because of the staff providing the care. From reception staff at the front desk to the nurses who have taken my blood. I have always been treated with dignity, respect and kindness.

I have been looked after by nurses who have been extremely kind and caring and are a credit to their profession. Thank you

Thank you very much for the time taken to record your very positive feedback on the NHS choices website regarding the care and treatment you received at the Day Treatment Unit, Freeman Hospital.

We have shared your comments with the staff involved in your care, who endeavour to provide a consistently comfortable environment for patients during their treatment and we would like to take the opportunity to thank you for your extremely kind comments. It is always rewarding to receive such positive feedback from patients in regard to the care we deliver.
