"experience on delivery suite"

About: The Royal Victoria Infirmary / Maternity care

my daughter was 21 weeks pregnant sadly the baby passed away. we were sent to the r v i for her to deliver the baby. when arriving at hospital we were shown to a room and settled in. everything was explained in great detail all questions answered. the staff on the ward were fantastic our assigned midwife for the birth was with my daughter every step of the way. The midwife made what is the cruellest and most horrendous event any parent should never have to go through so much easier to deal with. after my grand daughter was delivered my daughter sadly had to go to theatre for a retained placenta again all staff in there were marvelous. I really can't thank the midwife and all other staff enough. you do a really tough job day in day out and your not always appreciated enough. many thanks
