"Shocking"

After waiting for 15 weeks my son went for his first, long awaited appt today. He came out a different boy. Totally demoralised. After a short discussion he was told that his problems were due to his personality and what did the want them to do? There was a student in on the consultation who my son said huffed and sighed and looked bored the whole time. He was told medication won't help (that's fine) how about talking?

My son agreed and the dr raised their arms and said "go on then" l had read the other negative reviews but thought I would see for myself. We will be returning to the GP

I am sorry that your son and you have had such negative experiences at the Greenfield Centre. I have passed the comments on to the teams so that they are aware of how you feel and I am sure that if there are ways they can address those concerns they will. I appreciate how difficult it is when you have waited for an appointment and then feel so let down. If you felt you were able to it would be helpful if you could speak to the service manager at Greenfields so that the concerns you have raised could be raised directly with the staff concerned in the appointment.

It is important to us that we can take comments made by people who use our services so that we can learn from them and continue to offer appropriate services that support service users and carers
