"Ok for NHS not so for private patients."

About: Springfield Hospital

Springfield used to be the best place for self-funded patients or for those with private healthcare. Not so much now. The hospital caters for an ever increasing volume of NHS patients so it's become very busy, lots of waiting around, queues, limited appointments and so on.

Makes me wonder why I bothered to spend a fortune on health insurance when almost everyone else was getting same service for free. My appointment with the consultant felt rushed and there was little opportunity for discussion. A diagnosis of my condition was given without any detailed explanation.

Needless to say I'm going elsewhere for a second opinion, hopefully more patient-focused.

How bizarre that same-sex accommodation is deemed so important in healthcare!

There are a variety of benefits of private healthcare at Springfield including rapid access to appointments and treatment.

However, we are committed to providing the highest standards of patient satisfaction for all our patients, regardless of type.

We were very disappointed to hear that we have not met your expectations on this occasion and as such would be grateful if you could contact us so that we can fully investigate your concerns and update you accordingly afterwards. Please contact us on 01245 234066 or by emailing springfield.enquiries@ramsayhealth.co.uk. Thank you
