"Shocking and dangerous"

This service is shocking. They are putting their patients in danger. I got referred to AWP a year ago after a failed suicide attempt. I was told to wait 3 weeks for an appointment but a further attempt meant I was seen quicker and they deemed I was a low risk and discharged me back to my GP. Over the following six months I had several more referrals and was given a care coordinator which I rarely saw. I then moved and was given a new worker and they have mentioned on more than one occasion that they don't think I need mental health support from AWP. This is a complete contradiction to what both my GP and private psychiatrist think. I only saw a private psychiatrist as I got frustrated with their inability to provide me a diagnosis and take my concerns seriously. I now after 12 months have an appointment with one of their consultants but I am not going to put it past them to attempt to change my diagnosis and medicate me so I become less outspoken. 2 months ago j had several crisises one after another. I was attempting suicide in a daily basis and all the "crisis" team could say was have a walk, take a bath, have something to eat and drink some tea. In fact it was only when I threatend to jump off a railway platform that they said I should phone the police. My care coordinator of course blamed me for feeling this way and told me not to over react. They refused to listen as I've developed psychotic and delusional thoughts, obsessional behaviours that are putting my life and wellbeing at long term risk. I'm just thankful I have support from my GP and the private psychiatrist because without them I would be 100% worse
