What I liked
I found the hospital nice and clean and what looked like a professional enviroment. I was also seen extremly fast the first time that I had my x-ray and had no problems at all.I had my right breast x-rayed in result to a lump that i had found and found that all the doctors and nurses were doing there jobs well and fast.
What could be improved
I went for my biopsy today the 9th of march at around 1:15 and was called straight in to the xray room where there was a doctor and a nurse.I found that the nurse was a little pushy and didnt really make me feel at all comftable about the procedure. The doctor explained to me that it would feel like I was having a blood test done and that it wouldnt hurt. And I asked if I would be having a local anicsetic and they replyed no. I was extremly worried about having it done and had a feeling when I saw the 2ml needle that it wasnt going to plesent. But after xraying it again to check where it was and spraying some anticeptic spray on it the doctor explained that there was gong to be a small scratch. As soon as they put the needle in and began moving it around I had to shout for them to stop as the pain was just to much. The doctor told me that they would have to think of another way around it, the second time around if they were unable to find any cells from it. I was extremly upset by it all and have been left with a big bruze. The letter that had my appointment says that the doctor will give a local anaesthetic so it is not painfull.
So why was I treated any differently?
