"A&E visit on 09/07/16"

About: Alder Hey Hospital

I attended Alderhey A&E with my three year old child on 09/07/16 at around 21.00 hours.

On arrival the triage staff were lovely.

My son was placed into a room which was really clean and there was toys and a tv on the wall.

A nurse came into us within minutes, they were really friendly and polite, the nurse even made time to interact with my son before they did his obs, which was lovely. Initially we thought my son was needing to have surgery.

The two nurses and two doctors that treated and cared for my son were excellent.

A credit to the NHS and I cannot thank you enough.

Luckily were we able to go home and we are now waiting for a date for his surgery which makes me feel more reassured.

There was plenty of parking spaces and it was only £2.00 to park.

The only minor point is that there is no hot drinks machine in A&E but I fully understand the reasons why they don't with so many children.

Fabulous hospital.
