I decided to use TGH to have a baby as it was local to me, from the beginning of my pregnancy they have been fantastic, offering extra scans due to an underactive thyroid and constant monitoring due to swollen feet and ankles. I was induced and every single midwife ranging from the assessment unit to Labour ward and ward 27 were absolutely fantastic, they were caring and made sure I was well looked after seeing as I had to stay over due to an emerg c section. They even allowed my husband to stay and made sure we had a private room after a very traumatic delivery! Thank you so much Tameside, your maternity department are amazing! !
