"Fantastic treatment and results"

I recently had cataracts removed from both eyes over the last 5 weeks (may-june) whilst I was nervous about the procedure, I was reassured and received excellent care from all members of the staff, from admin reception, to nurses doctors and consultants. They were friendly, helpful, thorough and skilful in my treatment.

The actual procedure was completed in about 10-15 mins with little discomfort and no pain at all. It seemed amazing that the procedure takes place whilst fully awake with eyes obviously wide open but it was totally painless. I was aware of the fantastic improvement in my vision immediately after the procedure. My left eye was treated first on 25th May and after seeing my own optician a few weeks later for my post-op follow up he said I had 20/20 restored in it. He then referred me to have my right eye treated too, and that was completed successfully on 29th June. Once again the spa medica staff were tremendous, and my treatment successful and swift

I would recommend this facility without hesitation, and whilst a cataract removal procedure may seem daunting, in my experience there really is nothing to be scared of as the treatment at spa medica @ St Caths Wirral is first class. My vision has been totally improved and I'm delighted with it.
