"Amazing service"

My daughter had croup last night, her breathing was shallow & raspy & she had a high pitched cry that I've never heard from her before. Although she seemed really bad to me, I wasn't sure if it was life threatening or not & didn't want to waste emergency services time. The 111 line referred me to 999 emergency number.They sent a paramedic out within 10 minutes to check on my daughter, they checked her obs & gave her medicine to ease her breathing, calming her straight away & called the ambulance to get a second opinion because they said when it comes to children's breathing they can go from alright to critical within 30 minutes.The ambulance arrived within 10 minutes transporting us to the hospital very calmly & professionally, they gave her steroids to help her breathing so by the time she got to hospital she had improved massively.I honestly can't rate all the staff I dealt with high enough, they were all very patient, friendly & reassuring, wonderful with my daughter, treating her like a person rather than just another job. Thumbs up for the 5 Star service from all involved.
