"Endoscopy dept - colonoscopy"

Attended for colonoscopy.

I was extremely worried about the procedure and result.

No need to be worried at all. Staff all amazing from the moment I arrived. Everything carefully and sensitively explained. The procedure was nothing to be worried about. I opted for sedation but was fully awake and chatting, with only slight discomfort momentarily..

Luckily for me the problem was polyps which were removed without any discomfort. If you are due to have this procedure at Kings Mill I can honestly say you will be fine. I was really scared beforehand but there was genuinely no need to worry. Every member of staff I met was very kind and caring from booking in through to recovery. The consultant and their team are amazing - they have got it right! Well done.
