"I arrived by ambulance and was seen by matron..."

I arrived by ambulance and was seen by matron straight away but then had to wait over 3 hours in A & E. I realise they were very busy but there should be some way throughout your wait how much longer it will be before you are able to see a doctor. They make announcements throughout stating that the how long the wait is but do not keep you personally updated.

When i was eventually seen the doctor was very, very good and thorough.
