"What a wonderful team you have"

My son became ill whilst we were on holiday in Filey, we phoned NHS 24 who quickly gave us an appointment at the out of hours dept at Scarborough Hospital, we rushed out the door without anything for our son. Our son was seen on his admission time by a GP who was very professional and reassured us about his condition, but wished for him to be checked over by the paediatric team

We were admitted to the childrens ward for 6 hours until my sons temperature came down and they could compete a full assessment. I found the nursing staff and the medical team very professional and they made us feel at ease. They ensured my son was comfortable as well as us, especially as we had no professions for our son or ourselves. Nothing seemed a problem. What a wonderful team you have.
