(as the patient),

I was on the waiting list and had a call on Wednesday asking if I could take a cancellation for the next day. I could, so in I went at 8 am, got prepped and taken into the OR. Next thing I remember is coming round in the recovery room. Very efficient, kind nurses, good explanations and a lovely cup of coffee and toast afterwards.

The surgery went well apparently and now I'm back home without a hernia: )

Many thanks to all the day surgery staff at Crosshouse for a job well done and the very pleasant attitude of everyone who dealt with me.
