I was admitted to New Cross following a bad dizzy spell and bad headache on 10th May, I was taken by ambulance and from collection by the ambulance to being discharged I was treated extremely well.
Blood Tests, ECG, Chest Xray etc were done very quickly in A & E, I arrived at approx. 10.00am and was transferred to a ward by 2.00pm.
All staff from Doctors to Ward Cleaners treated me very well, were always friendly, helpful, polite and very courteous, nothing was too much trouble for them.
I was discharged on 13th May but following a slight relapse, had to be re-admitted in the early hours of Sunday 15th May, with a rapid heartbeat, I was again seen very quickly, staff again very reassuring and courteous and I was taken to a ward following various checks.
I was kept in until Tuesday 17th May and following various tests and a change to my medication was again discharged.
I would like to say a big thank you to all at New Cross, We only seem to hear about the "problems" in our hospitals, but all the patients on the 2 wards I was admitted to had nothing but praise for all the staff.
I would add that I was also impressed by the choice and quality of the meals served to me during my stay.
All meals were hot, well presented and looked very appetising, tasted good too!!!!
Many thanks.
