"they messed my appointment up completely"

I had an appointment booked by this hospital for 12:30 on 27/05/16 they rang me a week earlier and asked me if i could do a 7am slot i said yes that's fine , remember they rang me i didn't change it they did !! . i arrived at reception at 7am was sent to day care and put in a curtained area with a be, was told to change into a gown ect which i did , a nurse came in took my details and said i was down for a general not a local anaesthetic .. i said thats completely wrong its a local , i also asked how long it will be till they send me down , i was told after 12:00 i was fuming and asked why i was asked to come in at 7am they said it must have been an error and they would get the surgeon to talk to me .. at 8:30 i had enough and got dressed and told them i was going home , i spoke to the reception who got the surgeons receptionist to come out and talk to me , another 30 mins later they came out saying how sorry they were and they would call me and rebook another day .. still no explanation as to why they messed up , why they called me and changed it in the first place and why was my anaesthetic wrong .. so sorry but cant write a nice review.

We are sorry for any confusion that arose. We ask all patients on a morning list to arrive at 07:00 and those on an afternoon list to arrive at 12:30.

We understand that you were rebooked for your procedure on 3rd June and we hope that you are now recovering well.
