"Excellent care from start to finish"

I visited EPU on the 18th May with a suspected ectopic pregnancy, I was investigated straight away and this was confirmed within 2 hours. I was sent to Eden Ward and by that evening was sent home having been treated. I cannot fault the care of the nurses and midwives in EPU and the gynae SHO, registrar and consultant on Eden Ward. I was informed every step of the way and made to feel as comfortable as possible in what was difficult time for me. The midwife from EPU even came to visit me after their shift had finished to find out the result and check on my wellbeing.

This was my first visit to RCHT as a patient but I actually work there everyday so am well aware of the time and resource constraints on the staff there.

Again, the care was outstanding by everyone involved and I would not hesitate to recommend the hospital to family and friends.
