Back in January at my last appointment a follow-up was booked for this week.
When I didn't receive the usual text reminder I called the hospital to confirm the time. After spending the best part of two hours dialling and re-dialling and either getting an engaged tone or numbers that just rang until I was cut off I finally spoke to a receptionist who advised me the appointment had been cancelled in March.
Unfortunately no-one had informed me and the appointment had not been re-scheduled. I then got passed to another department to sit in a phone queue for another half hour only to be told that there were now no appointments available until the middle of July.
I'm far from impressed.
