After all the bad press we hear about Medway hospital I was not too happy after my Mother was rushed there on the 4th of May from her nursing home, she is 93. She was unconscious and severely dehydrated so much so that she had some damage to her kidneys.
When I arrived at A&E it was extremely busy but the staff were amazing and I would like to thank them all for the care and patience they showed her.
Everyone was very helpful and took the time to explain procedures to us. I could not have wished for a better team of Doctors and staff.
My Mother was admitted to the Wills Adam ward and once again her care has been second to none so thank you to all the staff on the ward.
A&E and the ward are extremely clean and my fears of her being there quickly abated, in fact she has been cared for far better then her nursing home who are paid a ridiculous amount of money for her care.
The only blip I would say is that we had to wait a few hours before she could be moved to a ward.
My faith in the Medway hospital has been fully restored, thank you.
