About: Hull Royal Infirmary

The care that I received as an inpatient within the above mentioned areas was excellent.

All the staff that were part of my hospital experience were approachable, caring and kept me well informed at every stage of the surgical journey. I include all staff, Doctors, Nurses, Porters, X-ray department and Housekeeping staff.

Special mention to the Staff who came up to the ward to escort me to Theatre. Their , efficiency, relaxed manner and chattiness really relaxed me on the journey through the hospital to Theatre as nerves were starting to make me think that the surgery may not be such a good idea! I liked that the same staff stayed with me in the Anaesthetic room and into theatre. This really helped my anxious state.
