"Getting an appointment is scandalous and a..."

Due to the wasted time my father has tried to get an appointment ringing at 8.15 in the morning and finally getting to the receptionist at 8.32 was then told there is no appointment for today again , second day on the trot I then told my 86 year old father I would sort an appointment. Well after asking I was told to wait for doctor to ring me, 2 hours later I was told by the doctor my father wanted a doctor who he knows very well and comfortable to see after several changes to his tablets he takes daily is not available but is on call tomorrow so get your 86 year old dad to wait outside for the doors to open at 8am who can then queue up inside til 8.15 when the reception desk will take his details.

This was after I said he has a bulging disk in his back and can't stand for very long.

I then asked to book an appointment for the following week but was refused that and told to get a pharmacist to look at him.

So after a discussion with this doctor and been told repeatedly to try again tomorrow or wait outside I have come to the conclusion that after this incident and the wrong x 5 diagnosed ailments that my mother received two years ago the surgery is a complete joke.

Please if you have the chance go to a different surgery just as my father will be doing next week.
