What I liked
Some staff understood what SPD was and helped me lots. They bed bathed me when necessary. My husband was there for support and to play a caring role for me as my registered carer.
What could be improved
The knowledge of SPD and disability. They did NOT let me press my buzzer after 23:00hrs despite me being disabled and rarely pressing it at all as they made my husband stay to help and assist with my care.
Anything else?
The food menu was not very good and therefore i rarely ate which is not a good thing after having a baby and anaemia and almost having a blood transfusion.
The prolene stitch was left in to which a few months later, as consultant discharged me, i ended up in casualty to have it removed.
Once i was home i took bad and they did not want to know i was not their problem anymore, despite me ending up there anway via A and E.
