"Thank you"

I simply cannot fault the excellent level of support I have received from the occupational therapists who have been involved with my care so far. They have always shown dignity, empathy and understanding and I have been given valuable practical advice and info on relaxation, managing mood and self care. The only criticism I have as others have also said is the first point of contact. Time and time again I have been unable to get through via the switchboard. When you are in crisis you need a physical voice and not an answering machine. I am terrified of answering machines and find it hard enough to convey my feelings to a person let alone a machine.

Response from Aire Court Community Unit

Thank you very much for the lovely feedback you have given to staff based at Aire Court.

All of the staff work very hard to provide good care for all that use our services and I’m really pleased you found this service so helpful. I will pass on your positive comments to all the staff concerned.

However, I am sorry to hear about your frustrations when trying to contact the service via telephone.

We do fully recognise that the telephones at Aire Court are an on-going issue.

All of these issues have been raised and please be assured that we are working together to look at ways of improving this current issue.

Thank you once again.

Kind regards,

Clare Blackburn
