"I have had enough."

I'll start with the positives:
- I was treated a few years ago on Paget Ward. The nurses were patient, kind, caring & very gentle with me after surgery. I was so thankful.
- My consultant in Pain Management has diagnosed me after a year of unexplained pain, provided a treatment plan & is always honest with me. The one ray of light.
However. For the past 10 months I have had delay after delay after delay. I am supposed to be treated within 18 weeks of referral; which happened from another department in the hospital last October. It was 10 weeks before I even had my initial consultation in Pain Management where a course of treatment was recommended (by the aforementioned excellent consultant).
A month passes; I hear nothing. I start ringing to chase my appointment. No answer from hospital admissions on 3 occasions. Two voicemails left at Hillingdon Consulting Rooms who did not ring back. My mum takes over ringing several times a week. We are told a different story about the waiting list every time we ring.
If the waiting list is so long and so many people are being left in pain waiting for treatment, alternatives need to be provided. I have had no treatment in 10 months since a bit of physio. I need a simple injection to cure inflammation that should have been done a year ago. Now I've developed chronic fatigue and depression due to the delay and am unable to work. My job is in jeopardy.
The fault is of course the government's but Hillingdon Hospital are completely failing me. I've contacted my MP who has written to the hospital and still they have no sense of urgency in treating people expediently.
It feels devastating to not be prioritised and not receive the care I am legally entitled to within the timeframe stated on the NHS website.
