(as the patient),

I was referred for physiotherapy following a broken bone in my upper arm.

The physiotherapist Nikki made a significant difference to my recovery, and treated me with compassion, courtesy and thorough competence.

Generally the physiotherapy service is hampered by demands that exceed the availability of the practitioners. That said, Ms Watt ensured that I had the tools to improve between visits, and reassuringly also offered interim support if it was required unexpectedly/urgently/at short notice.

Thank you to the overstretched team at Ponton Street, who are a fantastic emblem of all that is good about our NHS.
