Once again the was no doctor in the GP out of hours service ,this is getting regular and is not acceptable in Bridlington as it is the only emergency medical attention after 11.00pm.
The only other thing you can do is to drive on a 40 miles round trip to Scarborough A&E which in a town as big as Bridlington should not be the only back up available .
The A&E is not the best anyway as the last time we had to go ,my daughter has a chronic health problem which infections are a big problem, there was quite a number of ambulances waiting outside so the A&E could claim that they had seen everybody within the 4 hour limit.
We should not have to put up with second best in Bridlington which seems to have got worse since the involvement of York Trust.
My daughter is waiting for a specialist 7 hour operation to help her medical problems, it is so specialist that is is not being done locally thank goodness but with the strike it has already been cancelled three times ,what is happening to OUR NHS.
