"Blood tests not done properly at Bolton"

About: Royal Bolton Hospital

(as the patient),

I had my gall bladder removed and the removal of stones in the bile duct, I stayed on E3 and F5 at the Royal Bolton.

The nurses on the wards were absolutely brilliant and caring, absolutely nothing was too much trouble. Even on the assessment wards, the nursing staff were brilliant.

Waiting to have the test done could have been shorter though. Also I was angry about the blood tests. One was inadequate and the other wrongly labelled. They had to be redone. Despite this, thank you to all the nurses on both the wards.

Thank you for all your positive comments we will forward these to the staff on the wards.

Thank you also for making us aware of the troubles you had with regard to your blood test. We did not provide a good service to you and we are sorry for the anxiety this caused you. We will look in to this matter and address any training issues.
