Throughout my pregnancy I have been through a lot. I had a low lying placenta which caused a lot of bleeding. I got a hole in the baby sac which caused even more heavy bleeding. I am also blood type rhesus negative which meant if the baby was positive either of us was in danger. then at 27 weeks my waters had broken which meant I had a chance of an infection. The Midwives and Doctors were very helpful they looked after me and saved my little boy's life I couldn't have asked for any better people to look after us both. They gave me scans every 2 to 4 weeks also monitored me and the baby and took my bloods twice a week. At 33 weeks I started to get contractions which meant I had to have a cesarean as my little boy was sideways. I was so scared and nervous as I didn't know what was happening but as I see him to the main doctor I was reassured and just wanted my little baby out. 45 minutes later after they had made the decision my son was born. The doctors and surgeons who did the cesarean talked me through everything they were doing. I knew I was in safe hands. My little boy is in an incubator in the NICU unit. The Midwives down there who care for him are absolutely fantastic. They are very friendly and keep you informed of any changes and always ask you permission before they do anything. My baby now is 5 days old and is doing really well. Tameside Hospital I give you a full 10 out of 10 for everything. My little boy may have not been here today if we both were't in your hands.
Thank you so much
