Took my wife to the Weybridge Walk-in Centre this morning following a fall whilst out shopping, in which she sustained a laceration to her upper lip. We had a bit of a wait (2 hours), but this was to be expected and was not a problem. Eventually seen by a Sister and nurse who cleaned and dressed the wound. It has to be said that we found Reception to be efficient and friendly, and the Sister and nurse to be both professional and friendly with a cheeky sense of humour.
This was our first experience of a NHS Walk-in Centre, and considering the circumstance, it turned out to be a pleasant one.
