I was brought to NSEC by my work colleagues after I became ill. I was seen in triage and then sent through to see a doctor in A&E who quickly worked out what was going on. I had through tests and despite a complex presentation they came to a conclusion, and decided on treatment quickly.
I feel strongly that I want to redress the balance as there are negative comments on here, but I am not sure people seek out to share the positives?
I was admitted on to ward 4 where I spent 2 nights in their care. I can honestly say I felt comfortable and cared for throughout. The ward ran like clockwork and in terms of hygiene there were no issues at all. My medication was timely and I felt involved in all discussions regarding my care. I particularly wanted to mention Ferdinand who managed the ward that I was on, and also a care assistant on night shift whose name I did not get (mainly because I was half asleep! ).
Thank you all for the great job that you do.
