"Royal Lancaster Infirmary nurse was amazing"

About: Royal Lancaster Infirmary / Accident and emergency

(as a relative),

My fiancè and I went to the hospital after he received a nasty tick bite in his private area. We expected to wait for an hour or two before being called through. We waited 5 minutes (if that) and was greeted by a lovely nurse called Kate. My fiancè was really nervous as he would have to have his personal parts on display as it was all rather swollen. Kate was honestly the best nurse we have ever encountered. She made us laugh so much but then turned in to such a caring person when he had a bad reaction to having blood taken.

He was then told he would have to stay overnight as he had a nasty tissue infection but on his way out Kate gave him a pep talk and made us all laugh so much so he was completely at ease.

She then came to his ward the next day to see how he was and he said she made him completely relax and feel great after hardly sleeping.

I wish we got her full name so we could send her a thank you card but this will have to do! She was AMAZING!
