About: Royal Hampshire County Hospital

(as the patient),

Anything else?

It would be very helpful to patients and visitors, particularly those with limited mobility, if there was a site/building plan on the website to view or download. Showing the main buildings, entrances, drop-off areas and car parks. Compared to other hospitals the on-site signage is quite poor in its purpose and clarity.

Dear Mrs Gudge, Thank you for your response about the Royal Hampshire County Hospital. I'm sorry that you were unable to find the site map of our hospital on the website (www.wehct.nhs.uk). We do have a comprehensive site map on the website and it does show all the information you would have liked. The site map clearly marks all the buildings, entrances, parking spaces, including those reserved for disabled drivers, and the number of parking spaces in each area. Additionally, on page two of this document, there is a list of wards and where they are located. There are three links to the site map from the 'Directions' page of the website which can be accessed from the homepage. I hope that, should you need to visit us again, you will find the sitemap useful. With best wishes, Feri Sanjar - Website Manager, WEHCT
