"Common Sense"

About: Barnet Hospital

Went for a blood test today.

After finishing, as a sufferer, I thought it would be a good idea to check my blood pressure.

After enquiring at both the front desk and the information desk at the rear of the ground floor, neither of whom could tell me where I could find a blood pressure monitor such as those found in doctors surgeries, I went to three other departments, out patients, cardiology and one other, all of whom looked at me as though I was asking for something totally out of place in a hospital.

Think of the time, money and most importantly lives that could be saved if there was one available for public use.

After all it is a hospital.
