I find the phone in helpline useless, I have left messages asking for a call back, waited weeks and nothing, I was promised a call back on Tuesday that hasn't happened , when patients are in pain or in need of advice they should be called back, not ignored!

Please accept my apologies that your ‘call back’ did not happen the day you were expecting it. This must have been extremely frustrating for you if you were in pain.

Unfortunately as your post is anonymous and you have not specified the dates concerned I am unable to investigate further at this time but I will forward your comment to the team involved who will be able to look into their call records.

The Rheumatology nurses do experience large call volumes to the helpline and try their very best to attend to each caller in an appropriate timeframe.

I am sure they will be disappointed to hear that you are less than happy with the service.
