"i was treated for a fracture in ..."

About: Tameside General Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

i was treated for a fracture in two places on my left wrist i wasn't admitted to ward 5 until 2 am but when i was the nurse was friendly and helpful and so was the doctor from a&e ensuring that the appropriate forms were signed for the manipulation of my wrist in theartre could go ahead.

What could be improved

it would of been a greater stay if i had been informed more about what time i was going down to theartre for the operation other than that it was a pleasant stay in the hospital.

Thank you for posting these kind comments, which I will pass on to the A&E and Orthopaedic departments. Whilst it is not always possible to give an exact time for an operation, we should keep patients informed of the expected time and any delays. I will also feed this back to the Orthopaedic Unit.

Kind regards
