"Excellent care"

About: King's Mill Hospital

Going to the hospital can be a daunting prospect at the best of times, but 44 and going to Cardiology....well it makes you think. I was nervous, but i needn't be the staff were lovely. I was met by smiles and general chitchat to put me at ease. They then went through the paperwork and what was going to happen. It was like having a friend hold your hand telling you everything was going to be fine.

My consultant went through the paperwork and procedure, then it was time to have it done. I was met in the room by lots of nurses and my consultant who asked if i was ok and then put a reassuring hand on my shoulder and told me everything would be fine . They and the nurses talked and walked me through the procedure and i was surprised how quickly it was all over with. To be honest....it really wasnt as bad as i thought it was going to be, id made it a monster and it really wasnt. After i was checked on constantly and they made sure i was good to go before i went home. I really cant thank them enough for making it all fine in the end. You all do a fantastic job. Thankyou.
