About: Royal Blackburn Hospital

I became a patient of the Urology outpatient department three years ago altering being diagnosed with bladder cancer and have therefore been a regular visitor to the outpatient team and Ward C22.

I have experienced an extremely professional service from all of the team, and found having a dedicated consultant and clinical nurse specialist reassuring. I feel like the whole team took the time to get to know me, to understand my needs, ad to therefore deliver the best care for my situation.

I felt full involved in all aspects of my care, and knew that the vest decisions were being made. 3 years on there is no sign of return but I continue to receive excellent maintenance care from the team.

I can't thank everyone enough, it's down to this team that I will be able to celebrate my 40tg birthday next year.
