"2.5 hr wait and then told I cant be seen with..."

I waited for 2.5 hours after telling the receptionist I had severe chest pains and a sensation in my left arm. After 2.5 hours a nurse came out and said that they cant see anymore people that night. I went to A&E who did ECG that showed problems and was admitted straight away and kept in.

Even there own website said it was a medical emergency, the receptionist told me that they didn't think it was serious enough to see me that night and to go to A&E if I felt it was serious enough when I asked about being seen after the nurse said that no more people would be seen.

At the hospital I was seen straight away due to the seriousness and on a ward after ECG, blood tests etc in less time than I sat in the walk in centre waiting for no reason.

Incompetent and rude, I nearly never went to the hospital after being made to feel like a time waster by the receptionist. The problem was with my heart and it's lucky that I did go to A&E!
