I was an in patient at Darlington Memorial Hospital from 23 December 2015 until 5 January 2016 and I was treat very well indeed. Although it was a long holiday period the staff on Ward 41 went out of there way to provide a high level of care and some had to give up booked holidays in order to maintain staff levels. The Ward Sisters were exceptionally good, leading by example and prepared to carry out any task, no matter how menial to ensure that the job was done. I was kept well informed of my progress by Doctors and Nurses throughout my stay. Other staff in support services such as X-Ray, Laboratories and Pharmacy also provided excellent service. The food was also good.
I have nothing but praise for everyone with whom I came in contact with during my stay, especially the Nurses.
