"Maternity Unit"

The midwives were amazing, my labor took so long I think I met all of them! The Doctors were irritating and frequently unavailable for hours and paperwork was rubbish, but this didn't impact my delivery (thank fully left in the care of the midwives who as ever have a much better grip on what was going on) Never felt at risk, ignored or a number, although the end part was hazy my other half has confirmed the midwives were amazing and kept him included and involved. Only irritating part was trying to leave, they kept losing my discharge paperwork for over 12 hours by which point I had cabin fever and was gagging for a decent shower not the dribble from the garden hose alternative/alleged shower provided. The shower facilities need a major over haul (I delivered in May 2013, so may have been done?) as if ever there is a time you need a shower and a scrub, post delivery is it.
